When compared to other markets, Canada’s affiliate marketing industry is lightyears behind. My goal is to increase awareness and educate advertisers on the benefits of allocating budget to affiliate partners, how to build and grow a successful program and how to connect with quality publishers.
Who am I?
I’m Cameron. You’ve probably come across my LinkedIn posts about digital marketing or bumped into me at a conference. I’ve been in affiliate marketing for 10+ years working in all niches from sweeps to stock trading, pin submits to loans. I’m currently the Director of Performance for Canada at Finder.
I started my career as an account manager at ClickDealer affiliate network (acquired by DMS in 2022) on the demand side. I cut my teeth managing premium SMS and sweepstake lead gen advertisers.
After Clickdealer, I joined an adtech startup before co-founding 2 startups, Inaxion (pronounced ‘Inaction’) Agency and InboxBrain.
At Inaxion we owned and operated 30+ web properties including a financial comparison site ourcomparisons.com. We helped fintechs in the US scale their acquisition through our proprietary traffic channels. At our peak, we drove 300,000 leads per month.
InboxBrain was born out of a need to manage our internal email outreach. We created it as an internal tool that we then marketed to insurance agency owners to use as a remarketing tool for their customer database.
In 2021 it was time for me to make a change and that’s when I joined Finder to lead their partnerships team for their expansion into the Canadian market.
